1What do I bring in for my appointment?
Medical aid card, identification, consult fee.
2Do you charge medical aid rates?
No rates are charge 300% above most scheme rates, however you may qualify for a discount, please enquire with rooms.
3How do you except payments?
Internet transfer, cash deposit, credit card or cash payment in rooms.
4Can I make payment arrangements?
This can be arranged with doctor via the rooms?
5Are all medical aids accepted?
All medical are accepted by doctor, however certain medical options are not accepted by the hospital, please enquire with rooms.
6What are you consulting times?
8:00 to 16:30 weekdays.
1What do I do in case of emergency?
During office hours contact rooms. After hours, Please contact the hospital or present to the emergency department and ask the nurse to contact the doctor.
2When do I come in for scopes?
7:30 nil per mouth from midnight.
3When do I come in for surgery?
Please enquire with rooms. Different for all patients including nil per mouth.
4When do I expect to do a Post-operative follow up?
Usually one to two weeks, unless doctor expresses differently. If you need an earlier appointment please enquire with rooms, efforts will be made to try and accommodate you (unfortunately not always possible).
5What happens if doctor is away?
Doctor always arranges another specialist to cover his practice and he can be contacted via rooms or hospital emergency department.
6How can a family member contact the doctor?
Please contact my rooms for an appointment, or a call back, or else let the sister in charge of the ward know that you need to contact me. Unfortunately it is not always possible to speak to all members of the family, a single person or couple should be nominated.
